1980 - 1999

   The church’s name was changed to “North Charleston Apostolic Church”.

     Rev. Daniel Scott (1980-1981)
        * Assisted by Greg Means
        * He brought healing after a church crisis.
        * He was able to renew the congregation’s strength and unity.
        * Had a vision and established the Children’s Castle Preschool (1981-2013)

    Pastoral Transition from Bro. Scott to Bro. Cole
        * Bro. Cole was asked to speak at the Conquerors Christian School graduation in 1981.
        * After the service, Bro. Scott asked Bro. Cole to prayerfully consider becoming pastor of the church.
        * Bro. Cole responded “Yes” within a week’s time.

  Rev. Billy and Shirley Cole (1981-1999)
  Mission Work
        * Veteran missionaries to the nation of Thailand as well as                           evangelists to much of Asia and North America.
        * After assuming the pastorate, yearly mission trips were still                       taken.
        * They saw approximately 1 million people receive the gift of                       the Holy Ghost.
        * Bro. Cole diligently trained young men and women to                                   continue in ministry.

        * Their ministry was blessed with great revival.
        * During their pastoral ministry, they saw hundreds baptized                         and filled with the Holy Ghost.
        * Bro. Cole had a pastoral theme of consistency.
        * In 1985, the Cole Family Center was built (present day                                sanctuary). It served as a community outreach.
